Liepaja is known as the city of wind, amber and musicians. In its southern and central part, Courland`s largest and Latvia`s third largest city lies on a 2 - 3 km wide strip of land between the Baltic sea and a vast lake - Liepajas lake, but the northern part of the city is Karosta (Latvian for Naval Port) - a unique historical military territory, that takes up 20 km2. During our guided tour you will see both, the center and the Seaside Park area with art nouveau houses, 19th and 20th century summer cottages and rich villas, our beautiful white sand beach,as well as you will travel to Karosta (the Naval Port) 7km from the center, where you will arrive over a swing bridge, built according to G. Eiffel`s Project, a monument of engineering.
